“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” ~ Hermes Trismegistus
About this event
Going within can mean many things to many people.
What is going within for you in a spiritual sense?
Is it Prayer? Meditation? Quietening the mind? Connecting with God or Source energy? Or just trying to isolate yourself from negativity and shutting off the outside world?
Can we really go within by isolating ourselves from the very things that are designed to teach us who we really are through reflection?
“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…”
“If then you do not make yourself equal to God, you cannot apprehend God; for like is known by like”.
Hermes Trismegistus
It is an expression of the universal law which is designed to awaken us to the fact that the outside world is a reflection of our inner world.
Going within is all about using what we observe in the outside world – the good, the bad and everything in between, with the knowledge that it is a reflection of what’s going on within us. If it wasn’t a reflection of what’s going on within us, it simply would not register in our awareness, or have very little significance.
We are the creators of our reality. What we feel and believe manifests in our lives. The desired outcome here is to use this awareness to balance the duality that is within us. In doing so, you not only balance your life, but that of the collective as well.
Incorporated in this experience are:
Gaining insights into our dualistic nature
Healing our core wounds
Balancing core energies (masculine and feminine energy)
Toning Bija mantras in balancing our lower and higher chakras into the heart center.
Healing our relationships from within
Owning our personal power by shifting our awareness
Meditation to balance inner duality with colour and sound
What are Bija mantras?
Traditionally, they are kundalini mantras written in Sanskrit, meant to be practiced daily, along with asana and meditation. They are ancient tools to help you channel your life energy into spiritual growth. They were first introduced by the Vedas and have been an important part of traditional yoga ever since.
Bija mantras are also known as “seed mantras” because they have incredible, cosmic power to unlock growth and healing.
That’s because each sound resonates at a different frequency – each with a different healing power. Ancient Hindi texts tell us of the connection between these vibrations and our life energy or “prana”.
It’s hard to believe that a simple thing like making a sound can unlock such powerful changes within us, however, Bija mantras have been used to heal mankind for thousands of years in Vedic meditation.
